energy engineer, economist, analyst, modeller – cleantech strategy all-in-one.
Elian has managed or delivered over 40 projects on the energy transition. His experience covers technology assessments, roadmaps and strategies for industrials, innovators, investors, and national governments.
He started his career delivering operational improvements worth millions in recurring savings to industrial, commercial and public sector clients.
In 2018, he co-founded a deeptech spin-off of ETH Zürich and the Paul Scherrer Institute, which he led as CEO. Ultimately, he learned the hard way the difference between great technology and strong product-market fit.
Elian holds an MEng degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MSc degree in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from University College London.
Strong technical background, hands-on experience, and proficiency with data and information technology profoundly shape Elian’s lean, focused consulting approach.
